Samsung's Steam Link app is a "game changer"

Steam Link is a device allowing users to extend their Steam gaming experience to their mobile device, TV. All you need is a local network or internet connection. In addition, the Steam Link app now supports Remote Play Together. Now you can join games hosted on a friend’s PC just by clicking a link.

If you’ve got a 4K Samsung smart TV with access to the Samsung app store, you can now stream Steam games up to 4K to your television set.

Of course, at such a high resolution - ethernet connectivity would be advised.
With a 16.3 ms latency through Ethernet cable with 2.3 ms variance and picture quality that held up most of our abuse, the Samsung TV delivered incredible visuals on our QLED televisions.

The Smart TV separates itself from the Steam Link box by allowing content streaming at a much higher resolution and refresh rate than the standalone variant (formerly hard-locked at 1080p) as well as the benefits of the superior specs integrated within their Smart TV screens. You will equally be able to connect most controllers and devices supported by Bluetooth connectivity. Although USB support might inevitably have more luck with the standalone.

It seems this new support is directly placing Samsung as the best choice for gaming smart TVs.
With the upcoming release of the QD-OLED technology lineup in Q1 2022, you might wanna hold onto your money for a Samsung television that will give you the best Streaming experience on the market for years to come.

Early prototypes of the QD-OLED hybrid were produced in June
